Project Details
Dynamic PET-MRI for integrated quantification of molecular immune responses and their vascular consequences (B06)
Subject Area
Nuclear Medicine, Radiotherapy, Radiobiology
Term
since 2021
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 431460824
Within this project we quantify immune processes and vascular changes in vivo using pharmacokinetic modelling of dynamic PET-MRI measurements. With this, we would like to better understand changes of the tumor microenvironment in the context of radioligand and immune therapies that we investigate in immunocompetent glioblastoma-bearing mice. We develop and evaluate novel reconstruction and analysis approaches for dynamic PET and MRI to reduce noise and partial volume effects, in order to improve PET-MRI quantification in small animal scans as well as in clinical applications for patients.
