This project explores the influences of cultural, technical, and socioeconomic framework conditions on the appropriation of wind in a comparative study between Great Britain, Portugal, and Germany. The aim is to identify characteristics and dynamics of the varieties of property regimes in the field of wind energy and to gain new implications for access and disposal rights of municipalities and local populations from comparative findings.
