The expansion, globalized interdependence, and increasing financialization in the field of assisted reproduction technologies (ART) can be observed in recent years. Against this background, the philosophical and sociological research project examines forms of appropriation of human generativity in the context of ART. It links up with current research on global fertility chains and asks how the findings formulated there can be further developed further empirically and theoretically from the perspective of a theory of property.
