We investigate the perception of and interaction with users of bionic embodied digital technologies (EDTs). We collect data on the self- and other perception of EDT users in qualitative interviews (WP1) and survey studies (WP2). In parallel, we develop a DR/AR system to replace body parts with bionic prostheses in virtual reality (WP3-WP5), in which we will run experiments on the perception of EDT users (WP6). In WP7 to WP9, we further develop the augmentation of body parts in the VR environment for experiments focusing on interactions with bionic EDT users and behavior analyses (WP10).
