The objective of D05 is the development of a framework for the topology, material and shape optimisation of individual particles and particle assemblies. We aim for the optimisation of complex particle systems, involving supraparticles comprising various building blocks. In contrast to the first funding period, the arrangement of the positions of the individual building blocks will also be subject to optimisation. Further non-idealities such as cracks in the arrangement of the building blocks will be incorporated. Moreover, material composition and shape of the building blocks are assumed to be distributed. Finally, full process-structure-property optimisation is envisaged for anisotropic particles and small multicomponent systems and for supraparticles.
