Project Description

The PORT (FIRE9) trials aims to establish additive/adjuvant therapy after definitive treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer. Currently the standard of care in the national guidelines is "structured follow-up". The hypothesis of the trial is a clinically relevant improvement of progression-free survival by the addition of 6 months systemic chemotherapy. Secondary endpoints of the trial include overall survival, quality of life, toxcity, efficacy in molecular subgroups and further translational work-up.
