Many-body electronic instabilities and topology on hexagonal lattices (B06)

Subject Area Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics
Term since 2019
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 258499086

Project Description

In this project, we theoretically study Fermi surface instabilities and microscopic universality in hexagonal electronic matter, and in particular kagome metals. We will focus on metallic kagome bilayers and analyze their potential density wave formation as well as the onset of topological superconductivity, nematicity, and pair density wave.
