Project Description

The Z01 Electron microscopy project is a central service to the FOR 2848. Its main purpose is to provide state-of-the art standardized transmission electron microscopy of cells and tissues in combination with support for quantitative data analysis. Routinely, we provide 2D electron microscopy, but if required, also tomography and quantitative immunogold electron microscopy (Tokuyasu method) is offered. We establish correlative light and electron microscopy (CLEM) and provide these methods to the members of the consortium.
