Project Description

The proposal aims to establish a general theoretical framework to address joint state sensing and communications in mobility-driven environments, and to quantify its relative merits with respect to resource sharing. The joint sensing and communication codes will rely on a careful design of data-carrying, and sensing enabling, symbols that exploit generalized feedback. Both point-to-point and network scenarios will be considered, and emphasis will be on practical solutions to improve radar and V2X communication systems operating in mmWave frequency bands.
