Aerosol Jet Printer

Subject Area Materials Engineering
Term Funded in 2019
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 420191629

Project Description

We request an Aerosol Jet Printer for the fabrication of layers and optoelectronic devices with precisely controlled properties. The Aerosol Jet Printer will be used for basic investigations as well as demonstration of new device architectures. The main advantages of Aerosol Jet Printing compared with competing processing methods are the possibilities to mix two or more inks in a precisely controlled ratio, fabrication of devices with extensive parameter variation on a small area and without contamination of the surroundings and coating of almost any material on top of any other material.
