Higher order QCD corrections to Higgs boson production in weak boson fusion (A1c)

Subject Area Nuclear and Elementary Particle Physics, Quantum Mechanics, Relativity, Fields
Term since 2019
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 396021762

Project Description

The goal of this project is to advance the fixed-order QCD theory for the production of Higgs bosons in weak boson fusion, currently available at next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO), to next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order (N3LO) and to explore the relevance of other effects, such as Higgs boson decays and the so-called non-factorisable corrections, that may become important at this level of precision.
