Within the framework of this project, we will study in detail the thermodynamic characteristics of magnon gases and magnon kinetics in different systems driven by pure spin currents. We will consider different approaches to the implementation of radiative magnon cooling, tailoring of the magnon dispersion spectrum, and tuning of the nonlinear magnon-magnon interactions to find efficient mechanisms allowing one to preserve the quasi-equilibrium state of the magnon gas and achieve spin current-driven Bose-Einstein condensation (BEC). We will study the spatial and temporal coherence characteristics and stability of the current-induced BEC. We will also address the possibilities of manipulation of condensates in the real space. The proposed investigations will contribute to the deeper understanding of interaction of pure spin currents with magnon gases and are expected to open novel approaches to the control of spin-current induced dynamic phenomena.
