Since 2018 Hannover Medical School (MHH) provides an open access publication fund to support publishing articles in certified open access journals. In 2019 the open access publication fund is co-funded by the German Research Foundation. The submitted funding for 2020 is intended to establish a sustainable structure for the funding of open access publication fees. A publication advisory service and an institutional repository for open access publications are well-established, which ensure a real publication service for MHH members.
