Project Description

We develop new regularization schemes for quantum gravitational functional Integrals of the finite mode number type, explore their general properties, and derive the resulting functional renormalization group equations in discrete renormalization group time. First applications include the spacetime structure in the fixed point regime of asymptotically safe quantum gravity, and the reasessmentof the cosmological constant problem from a novel perspective.
