Flame Synthesis and -Modification of Perovskite Catalysts (C02)

Project C02 synthesizes phase-pure perovskite and spinel materials in spray flames including sub-stoichiometric and doped compounds. Nanoscale perovskites ABO3 “families” are prepared using a novel two-step reaction process that enables an independent variation of both composition and morphology. Flame post-treatment of materials for modification of oxidation and doping are investigated on thin films from C04 and the results are then implemented in the particle synthesis strategies.
