Project Description

The overarching goal of this project is to predict key aspects of resistance evolution from readily accessible measurements of antibiotic responses. We will (1) synthetically manipulate antibiotic dose-response characteristics, (2) build and parameterize mathematical models to predict the rate and repeatability of resistance evolution, and (3) test theoretical predictions in quantitative evolution experiments.
