The applicants will exploit a unique and continuously growing collection of 3-D tumor organoids derived from patients undergoing treatment for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). The goal of the project is to identify and validate potential biomarkers and therapeutic target structures of the migratory, invasive and metastatic capacity of individual patient-derived tumors based on a combined comprehensive molecular and ex vivo co-clinical functional analysis.
