Local cues trigger changes in the migratory behavior of lymphangioblasts (B08)

Subject Area Cell Biology
Term since 2018
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 386797833

Project Description

The formation of lymphatic vessels is a vital process that is controlled by the intricate interplay of secreted factors that need to exert their effect in a spatially controlled manner. The present project examines the role of two extracellular proteins in the context of lymphangiogenesis, and aims to further our understanding of how protein-protein interactions govern the behavior of lymphatic endothelial cells during embryonic development and in human disease.
