The project studies formation and function of curvature-dependent signaling platforms during neuronal development. Specifically, we will investigate how recruitment of curvature-sensitive actin-regulatory proteins to transiently deformed membrane sections regulates growth cone dynamics and neurite outgrowth in developing mouse neurons.
