Theoretical approaches that take the relevant fundamental interactions into account are developed and ap-plied primarily to i) establish new routes to assign the absolute configuration of chiral molecules in the gas phase as well as to ii) identify candidate systems and describe their properties to pave the way for suc-cessful precision experiments with chiral molecules, which contribute as highly sensitive probes to funda-mental physics.
