Dendritic computations underlying formation of feature-selectivity in CA1 and their impairment in mouse models of Alzheimer’s disease (C07*)

Subject Area Cognitive, Systems and Behavioural Neurobiology
Term from 2017 to 2021
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 227953431

Project Description

This project proposes to combine dendritic calcium imaging in behaving animals and mathematical techniques to study dendritic computations underlying the formation of spatial selectivity in CA1 pyramidal cells, and to determine how they are impaired in mouse models of Alzheimer’s disease.
