CRAM 2.0 — a 2nd generation cognitive robot architecture for accomplishing everyday manipulation tasks ((08) R01)
Subject Area
Automation, Mechatronics, Control Systems, Intelligent Technical Systems, Robotics
Term
since 2017
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 329551904
Subproject R01 aims to provide CRAM2.0 with the capabilities required to cognitively create new plans for novel tasks in unexpected circumstances based on old experiences. It will investigate how to design and implement representations and processes required to realize the “situation model framework” for flexible and context-sensitive cognitive behavior. It will also address the question how to design and implement a deep causal learning and inference framework, as well as a hybrid symbolic/subsymbolic knowledge representation & reasoning (KR&R) framework.
