Project Details
Ancestral lines in population models with interaction (C01)
Subject Area
Mathematics
Term
since 2017
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 317210226
The aim of the proposed project is to investigate genealogies and more general ancestral structures in a wide class of population models with interaction, and a wide class of scaling regimes. We will consider multiple genetic sites with recombination between them as well as multiple types at any given site, under the action of selection and mutation. We will develop ancestral graphs and dualities and investigate scaling regimes that are intermediate between the classical ones, that is, the law of large numbers and the diffusion limit.
