The subject of the project is the study of interaction of nonlinear spin waves with spatially non-uniform potentials created due to the spatial variation of the static magnetic field. Within the second funding period we will focus on non-uniform potentials in spin-torque nano-oscillators. We will study the influence of the potential on the nonlinear dynamics of the nano-oscillators, as well as on the process of spin-wave emission and spin-wave coupling in arrays of oscillators. We will investigate ways enabling a controllable manipulation of the potentials providing the possibilities for efficient spin-wave emission and spin-wave exchange between neighboring spin-torque devices.
