Project Details
Macroscopic modeling of damage evolution in forming processes (C02)
Subject Area
Mechanics
Term

Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 278868966
A gradient-enhanced model for ductile anisotropic damage at large strains is established in which stress triaxiality and Lode parameter are considered in the damage evolution. Subsequently, the model is extended first by temperature dependencies and then by rate dependencies. Furthermore, the interaction of recovery and recrystallization with damage evolution is reflected in the model. Additionally, the model will be implemented in the Finite Element software Abaqus (in cooperation with TP S01) to make it usable for other groups.
