Damage in sheet metal bending of lightweight profiles (A05)

The aim of the subproject is to prove the hypothesis that damage can also be set in complex bending process chains with different sequences of deviatoric stress states that prevail over different plastic strains and at different temperature sequences. Various sequences of basic tests, roll forming operations, and profile bending are analyzed experimentally and numerically using a DP800. The separated influence of damage on the performance is then determined.
