The project focuses on the impact of behavioral biases on interactions among agents - in markets, organizations, and politics. Based on work in the earlier funding periods, the team will continue to research the interaction of incentives, competition, and beliefs, but with a stronger focus on "prosocial" behavior and political interaction. Prosocial behavior is affected by market regulation, raising the question how markets can be designed to promote pro-sociality. Related research questions are about the formation of beliefs, the acceptability of policy interventions, and polarization. The methodic approaches are theoretical and empirical, including experiments and surveys.
