The project studies the heterogeneity of different non-standard preferences and their interactions with each other. We study both substantive applications, for example in health economics and education, and methodological questions about the measurement of preferences and beliefs in experiments. A substantial part of our work deals with econometric analyses of the behavioral data from laboratory experiments, self-designed surveys, and administrative records. The research in the third funding period will be directed towards policy issues in health, education, energy consumption, and distributional justice, among others.
