Subproject D03 characterizes primary shaped micro and macro samples for the determination of electrochemical descriptors. From the results correlations between electrochemical properties and microstructure of treated (“eingefärbte“) alloys are derived. Based on these findings a rapid corrosion-test is developed in order to replace - within the framework of the method “Farbige Zustände“ - time-consuming metallographic investigations by means of high-throughput electrochemical characterizations.
