Term
from 2016 to 2021
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 119193472
The sub-project D5 is concerned with the derivation of quantitative statements on risk and resilience, in order to support the definition of regeneration paths with an optimal balance between expenses and acceptable remaining risk. Uncertainties in the regeneration originating from stochastic variability, and from subjective assessments are reflected comprehensively in the functionality of the capital good, by means of efficient stochastic simulation. Considering the quality of regeneration in association with previous and intended conditions for use, regeneration paths are identified which are robust and reliable as well as efficient.
