Project Description

The project investigates non-equilibrium charge transport in single particle electronic states in heterostructures and their interfaces, as well as in the presence of collective and cooperative excitations in (quasi) two-dimensional materials. Electron dynamics during structural transitions is a further topic. Techniques of time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy are applied in back- and front-side pump probe configuration and in the analysis of electron dynamics induced by THz field transients.
