Project Description

The project applies theoretical models to describe the dynamics of individual electrons in nanodevices in the presence of a gate voltage, Coulomb interaction, and charge transfer into or out of the device. Dynamics due to relaxation channels, coherent quantum oscillations, or non-equilibrium many-body states are of central interest. In addition, propagation of single electrons along a defined channel will be investigated.
