Project Details
Time-resolved non-equilibrium spectroscopy on artificial atoms and molecules (A01)
Subject Area
Experimental Condensed Matter Physics
Term
since 2016
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 278162697
The project focuses on electron excitations in semiconductor quantum dots, that may couple to form molecules. The electronic excitations exhibit sharp spectroscopic lines with dynamics on the nano- to microsecond timescale investigated by optical and transport experiments in the time domain. In the focus are electron correlation effects, coupling to the environment, the effect of magnetic fields, and manipulation and control of spin relaxation dynamics
