Particle Analysis Center (Z01)

Subject Area Chemistry
Term from 2016 to 2021
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 268730352

Project Description

The analysis of sizes and shapes of particles generated in the CRC, measuring of their interaction properties and also means of fractionating particles to provide highly uniform samples are essential to the CRC’s research program. Key and much used analytical methods are provided as a service by the particle analysis center (PAC). The PAC provides amongst others powder x-ray diffraction, preparative particle fractionation by ultracentrifugation, rheology, and light scattering to the scientists of the entire CRC.
