In the project we will develop computational models to study cancer evolution at single-cell and single-molecule resolution, focusing on the questions of cancer growth, response to treatment and relapse. We will develop models to predict cell responses to drug perturbations, study differences in cancer growth dynamics and study the evolution of methylation clonality during treatment using gene expression, open chromatin and DNA methylation as input data. In parallel, we will develop population (epi)genetic models of cancer growth, response to treatment and appearance of relapse, which will help understand the phenotypic and molecular measurements in treated PDX mice.
