The project aims for the creation of an open-access- repository for gender research, on the basis of existing technologies. This repository is to retain the past decades' research, to keep it freely accessible, as well as to provide a renowned filing place for new publications. The cooperation of the institutions of gender studies of the three Berlin universities with relevant institutions and projects, enables to draft the repository as an essential project for the modernisation of the publication attitude of gender research, in the direction of open access, of which the entire scientific community can profit. Experiences resulting from the creation of the repository are meant to be useful for other inter- and transdisciplinary fields
