Project B2 will study host-microbe interaction during development of the jellyfish host, Aurelia aurita. Project B2 aims to identify the members in the jellyfish microbiome whose presence is crucial for asexual reproduction and to decipher the role of host-derived quorum quenching activities in host-microbe interactions.
