Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 259130777
This project follows the idea that premature or defective pre-ribosomes and ribosomes that are generated in the course of ribosome biogenesis are cleared by a specialized selective autophagy pathway termed ribophagy. We aim to dissect the regulatory principles of ribophagy and to identify the selectivity factors involved in distinct ribophagic clearance pathways. Moreover, we aim to analyze the possible impact of ribophagy on pathogenesis of acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
