Clinical Neurology; Neurosurgery and Neuroradiology
Clinical Neurology; Neurosurgery and Neuroradiology
Term
from 2015 to 2023
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 255156212
Project S01 ensures homogeneity of model systems and measurement techniques to enable reproducibility and meaningful comparison across projects. It also helps with translation and expansion of assessment methods and models to promote studies in both, rodent and pain patients, in unravelling neural circuits of chronic pain. S01 will continue to provide all projects with individually-tailored support with methods and validated preclinical and clinical models. Furthermore, it will expand the spectrum of preclinical models for particularly clinically-relevant pain disorders and develop functional predictive biomarkers in chronic pain patients to improve the efficacy of treatment strategies.
