Project Details
Advanced nanoscale characterization and fabrication (Z02)
Subject Area
Physics
Term
from 2015 to 2023
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 258499086
The infrastructure project Z02 pools advanced nanoscale characterization and fabrication techniques accessible to all experimental projects of the SFB. In particular, large scale equipment for nanofabrication, electron microscopy for imaging and analysis, and X-ray characterization techniques suitable for epitaxial material systems are used. In addition, this service project provides and maintains an UHV sample transfer system that allows in vacuo sample transfer between growth and surface characterization systems. In combination a powerful environment for experiments with worldwide unique opportunities is generated.
