Project Details
Evaluating Mixed Reality Experiences (C01)
Subject Area
Human Factors, Ergonomics, Human-Machine Systems
Term
since 2015
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 251654672
The main goal of this project is to evaluate mixed reality experiences. Specifically, we will extend the knowledge of evaluating and understanding interaction in 2D (e.g., visual analytics) and 3D (e.g., immersive analytics) by combining them for collaborative use. The meaningful combination of synchronized immersive and non-immersive environments will allow analysts to explore and analyze mixed reality study data in a holistic and malleable way. The outcome will lead to the dissemination of a collaborative mixed-immersion evaluation environment to assess mixed reality experiences for the general visual computing community.
