Project Details
Superconducting hybrid structures based on topological insulators and Weyl semimetals (B05)
Subject Area
Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics
Term
since 2015
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 258499086
The two complementary research directions of this project are the theoretical study of the generation of unconventional superconductivity by external driving, and the establishment of a proper understanding of current-biased Josephson junctions in topological and complex materials. In particular, we want to find out in which sense topological and non-topological Josephson junctions can be distinguished from each other.
