Project Description

This project focuses on the study of real-space obstructed quantum spin Hall insulators based on a triangular atom monolayers such as indenene. We will synthesize and investigate indenene as well as other group-III triangular monolayers by means of STM/STS and ARPES, and span the topological phase diagram of 2D triangular monolayers.
