The coordination project of the Priority Programme SPP 1886 is the framework for all related projects and aims at the visibility in the international uncertainty community. The coordination is required to support the internal and external (national and international) communication. To improve the internal knowledge exchange, annual meetings, complex workshops and a Summer School are planned, as in the first funding period. For the documentation and publication of the jointly found research results, various media are utilized (e.g. joint homepage, publications and minisymposia at different conferences). To strengthen the international network of the Priority Programme, a visiting scholar programme is planned, giving all contributing projects the opportunity to invite international researchers. As one main finding of the first funding period, benchmark examples shall be developed. These examples should be defined as joint work, mainly based on the expertise of a Post-Doc researcher. The benchmark examples are planned for different topics and levels of detail.Further goal of the coordination project is to support especially female researchers and young families.
