GRK 621:  Stochastic Modelling and Quantitative Evaluation of Large Engineering Systems

Subject Area Computer Science
Term from 2000 to 2006
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 273075

Project Description

The subject of the research training group is the modelling and analysis of complex technical systems. Their performance and reliability has to be evaluated, optimised and guaranteed. Typical applications include systems from the areas of communication, production, transportation and traffic. Methods from computer science and mathematics are applied to solve the arising scientific problems. Joint interdisciplinary research efforts of the participating groups will help to predict the performance and dependability of the considered systems.
