The aim of this research training group is a synthesis of the dif-ferent research fields of economics, in particular economic theory, business administration and econometrics. Thus, empirical and theoretical analyses are closely integrated. The program mainly focuses on the study of dynamic decision-making. The dynamic effects of economic activity are stressed in many research fields recently. Examples are growth effects in macroeconomics, the strategic interaction in competition (strategic planning, industrial economics), the interaction of public regulation and market activity, the decision-making underlying the pricing on financial markets and the economic analysis of the relation between the financial accounting system, the taxation and financial markets.
