The non-linearity of the equations of motion generates a manifold ofphenomena for which all the above mentioned disciplines have developped their own specific phenomenologies. The aim of our research training group is to pass on to the students an interdisciplinary understanding of the occurring phenomena and to develop new approaches for the solution of difficult problems by mutual learning.
