Functional, Metabolic and Multi-Omics phenotyping in acute myocardial infarction (S01)

Subject Area Anatomy and Physiology
Pharmacology
Term from 2015 to 2023
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 236177352

Project Description

S01 provides the experimental models of ischemia/reperfusion and permanent coronary ligation using open and closed chest techniques, functional analysis by high resolution ultrasound and will train members of the CRC 1116 in surgical techniques and echocardiography. In addition a standardized diet-induced model of insulin resistance and metabolic phenotyping of mice will be provided. On the molecular level, mechanistic studies and target identification will be greatly facilitated by state-of-art proteomics, phospho-proteomics, metabolomics and lipidomics.
