Project Details
GRK 57: Molecular Physiology: Metabolism and Energy Transformation
Subject Area
Basic Research in Biology and Medicine
Term
from 1997 to 2004
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 269347
This research training group teaches our Ph.D. students several methodical approaches in molecular physiology in order to broaden their usally limited scope of experimental know how. In addition it provides lectures which focus in a comprehensive way on the molecular basis of physiological processes. The students are continuously called to present their ideas and results in front of their colleagues and advisers and thus acquire a good knowledge in communicating and presenting their work. Finally the students are brought up to become scientifically independent while they perform novel research.
