The aim of this subproject is to gain a fundamental understanding of the physical processes of in-cylinder chemically reacting multiphase flows. The focus is on experimentally recording the near-wall processes during spray-wall interaction and flame-wall interaction, investigating the influence of fuel, deposits and wall temperature, and characterizing the resulting pollutant emissions. The measured data will be used for model validation.
